Hello all!
This week in light of one class reading Stargirl and two classes completing To Kill a Mockingbird, we are going to talk about our ideas about cliques and courage.
What role do cliques play in socializing/education (high school) and the rest of your life? Do you consider yourself a part of a clique? Do you judge people by the people they hang out with? Are there certain symbols for different cliques? Is steroetyping ever good?
What does 'courage' have to do with every day living? Do you find yourself judged incorrectly by your friends, activities,religion, polititical stance? Do you look at some groups or individuals and look up to them because they do not follow 'the road most taken'?
Who is your role model? Why?

cliques play a huge role in school life, i think they can be good or bad depending on which one your in. i think they are good because it puts you with people that share common similarities with you, they can be bad because cliques often turn on eachother. i do consider myself to be a part of a clique and i think all of us are parts of cliques. if i judge someone on who they hangout with or how they dress or what they do on thier free time, i wouldnt say it out loud. the thing i think im judged on incorrectly on is my religion because everyone thinks that i have the same religion as the rest of my family, but that dosnt bother me.
Cliques in highschool can really effect the way that people see other people, becuase they really effect the way the people see them selves, and the way that poeple see them.
Theres probably ganna be another blog continuing this one.
but i dont really know what else to write.

Cliques can have a huge part in the way you go throughout school. I do consider myself part of a clique, even though Im not sure which one.... Cliques can be good because you meet people who thinkt he same way as you, or dress the same. Cliques can also be bad because they can degrade someone.
Ok. so like i said in my last blog,Cliques in Highschool can really effect the way that people see eatch other, becuase they really effect the way people see them selves and the way that people see them. When people are in a clique they usually have a certain style, like a steriotype, and like, "gothic kids" wear tripp pants, or chain pants, and "preppy people" wear like... hollister and american egeal, but cliques, can really ruien someones self esteem. Like i know somepeople that have tried to be in a clique and they have gotten almost like... rejected form it, becuase they didnt wear the same clothes and becuase they didnt think exactly the same thing, i think its a little rediuculous, but ohh well. =]
