Detailed writing assignment thing!!

My family does crazy things during this holiday season. My mom decorates the house with Christmas decorations when its the first week of November. Thenon the day after Thanksgiving my family goes out and gets our Chritmas tree. We get up very early, before the sun rises and it's still pitch black outside, and decorate it the next day. After this we bake Christmas cookies. My great great grandma passed down this secret recipe that is so good that it makes your mouth start to water just thinking about it. After the cookies bake we put brightly colored sprinkles on them. Then on Christmas eve we visit all of my family that live close enough. Then after a long and very boring visit we go to church which is also long and boring but very important to my family and myself. Then on Christmas day we get up, at about two o'clock in the morning when even the mean and dangerous chickens that live outside are asleep, and run as fast as we can downstairs to open presents. Then mom makes a Delicious breakfast. You can smell the delicious aroma of the cooking all the way outside. She always makes the best bacon in the world on Christmas day. Its crisp and doesn't have too much grease on it so it tastes absolutely delightful. Then if there is snow on the ground we go slay riding down the sleek snow top of our huge hill that we own. I love to feel the cold and fluffy snow on my face as I fly past everything on my sled. I think that the Christmas holiday is the best. It makes you feel all warm inside knowing that there is something fun and exciting just around the bend waiting for you to come and be a part of it.
